RETURNS POLICY AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
If any goods are faulty we will meet our statutory obligations to provide a remedy, however, Jewels of Hawthorn is not required to provide a refund if you change your mind about a particular purchase, so please choose carefully.
If you've made a purchase from Jewels of Hawthorn for yourself or as a gift and need to return the product, we will exchange the item for another product(s) or a Jewels of Hawthorn credit note if:
- returned within 20 days of dispatch for a purchase from our website or
- returned within 14 days of invoice for all store purchases.
For exchange, goods must be in original condition with no damage, scratches or signs of wear. All packaging and certificates must be returned and accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.
Claims stating goods are faulty or wrongly described must be made within 20 days of dispatch for website purchases or 14 days of invoice date for store purchases or such further time as is reasonable with regard to the terms of any manufacturers guarantee and any warranties implied by legislation.
Earrings are not able to be returned due to hygienic reasons.
Either return physically to our store or post the item back to 683 Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn Vic 3122. We require that returned items are insured during delivery (such as Australia Post 'Extra Cover') to safeguard against loss.
Once returned, the item/s will be inspected by our in house jewellers before a credit, exchange or refund is applied. You will be notified by email of the transaction.
If the items are found to be worn, scratched, altered or damaged no credit note, exchange or refund will be issued and the items will be returned to original delivery address or yourself in store.
Please note Jewels of Hawthorn:
· Will reimburse any reasonable shipping charges for return of goods that are deemed faulty or incorrect.
· Cannot accept returns for any reason other than if it is faulty, after 20 days from the dispatch date or 14 days from invoice date.
· Is not obligated to refund an item due to a change of mind.
If a product is defective, then we will, at our option, repair, replace or supply an equivalent product. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
